Crashdïet are a Swedish sleaze/glam metal band from Stockholm, formed in 2000 by singer-guitarist Dave Lepard. After Lepard's death in January 2006, the remaining members rebuilt the band and went on to release six more studio albums, cementing their status as one of the leading acts in the 2000s sleaze rock revival. Their debut 'Rest in Sleaze' hit the Swedish top 10, and the follow-up 'The Unattractive Revolution' reached no. 11 on the Swedish charts. In 2024 the band welcomed vocalist John Elliot and drummer Michael Sweet, and in May 2026 released their seventh album 'Art of Chaos' via Ninetone Records.
