Cœur de pirate is the stage name of Béatrice Martin (born 1989, Montreal), a Quebec singer-songwriter who has built one of the most distinctive voices in French-language pop over the past fifteen years. Trained at the Montreal Conservatory from age nine, she released her self-titled debut in 2008 while still a teenager, and the album charted in Canada, France, Belgium and Switzerland. Since then she has released seven studio albums, won Juno Awards, toured Europe and North America extensively, and since 2021 has also served as president and artistic director of the Bravo musique label.
Cœur de pirate released her seventh studio album, Cavale, on September 26, 2025 via Bravo musique.
The Cavale album and its title-track single were announced in April 2025, with a Canadian tour confirmed for the same fall.
The Cavale Tour launched in Montreal on November 6, 2025 and extended to European dates including Paris (L'Olympia), Brussels and Amsterdam.
Béatrice Martin appeared as a contestant on the 13th season of Danse avec les stars on TF1, starting February 16, 2024.
Martin became president and artistic director of Bravo musique, the Montreal label that releases her music.
