About
Currents are an American metalcore band from Newtown, Connecticut, formed in 2011. Their sound sits at the heavier end of the genre - technical riffs, djent-influenced rhythms and Brian Wille's emotionally raw vocals - and has earned them a devoted following across three studio albums on SharpTone Records. The 2023 album The Death We Seek and the 2025 EP All That Follows show a band that keeps pushing its own limits rather than repeating a formula.
