Curtis Stigers (born October 18, 1965, Hollywood, CA; raised in Boise, Idaho) is an American singer, saxophonist, and songwriter who broke through in 1991 with the pop-soul hit "I Wonder Why" (UK #5, US #9) and a debut album that sold 1.5 million copies. After contributing to The Bodyguard soundtrack, he pivoted to jazz in 2001, signing with Concord Jazz and releasing a string of critically praised albums that blend standards with rock, country, and folk material. He also co-wrote and sang the Emmy-nominated theme "This Life" for the TV series Sons of Anarchy.
Stigers released his 14th studio album, "Songs From My Kitchen, Volume 1", on March 28, 2025 via his own Pandemic Poodle Records label.
