Dan Owen is a British singer-songwriter and guitarist from Shrewsbury, Shropshire, whose sound draws on blues, soul and Americana. He came to wider attention in 2012 when a video of him covering Bob Dylan's 'The Ballad of Hollis Brown' went viral, leading to a deal with Atlantic Records in 2015. His debut album Stay Awake with Me followed in 2018, and his second, The Willow Tree, in 2023. His third album Neptune was released independently in February 2026, supported by a UK tour.
