Daria ze Śląska (born Daria Ryczek-Zając, 1990, Katowice) is a Polish singer-songwriter whose indie-pop and alternative sound is rooted in the working-class Silesian district of Giszowiec. She launched her solo career in 2022 after years in the jazz-influenced duo The Party is Over, and her debut album "Tu była" (2023) won two Fryderyk awards - for Best Debut and Best Indie Pop Album. Her second record, "Na południu bez zmian" (2024), added a third Fryderyk (Best Alternative Pop Album, 2025), cementing her as one of the most distinctive voices on the Polish alternative scene.
Daria ze Śląska released her third studio album "Halo. Co jest grane?" on 15 May 2026.
She released the single "Plastelina" in December 2025, previewing material for her upcoming third album.
Daria launched the autumn tour "A może jeszcze?" covering 26 cities across Poland, closing with her largest club show to date at Warsaw's Palladium on 12 December 2025.
On 5 April 2025 she won the Fryderyk award for Best Alternative Pop Album for "Na południu bez zmian" at the Fryderyk Gala in Kraków.
She ended 2024 with nominations for the Paszporty POLITYKI prize and the Olśnienia Onetu award.
