dArtagnan is a German folk rock band from Nuremberg, founded in 2015 by singer and multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Metzner alongside guitarists Tim Bernard and Felix Fischer. The band calls its style "Musketier-Rock" - a blend of electric guitars, bagpipes, violin and tin whistle wrapped around lyrics celebrating adventure, friendship and historical swashbuckling. Signed to Sony Music from the start, they debuted in 2016 with Seit an Seit, which reached #7 on the German album charts, and have since built a loyal live following across the German-speaking world.
dArtagnan released new singles "Helden X Hymnen" and "Wake Me Up" (feat. Piper.Ally) in 2026, pointing to a new album in preparation.
The Herzblut Tour 2025 concluded with headline shows in Berlin, Hamburg and Leipzig in September 2025.
dArtagnan kicked off their biggest-ever German and Austrian headline tour in March 2025, the Herzblut Tour 2025, spanning venues from Bremen to Vienna.
dArtagnan released their sixth studio album Herzblut on 12 July 2024 via Hansa/Sony Music, featuring guest appearances by Melissa Bonny and Visions of Atlantis.
Album Felsenfest reached #5 on the German charts and entered the top 20 in both Austria and Switzerland, the band's best chart result at that time.
