About
Death Valley Girls are a Los Angeles rock band active since 2013, built around vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Bonnie Bloomgarden and guitarist Larry Schemel. Their sound pulls from garage rock, punk, psych, and goth, wrapped in an occult-spiritual aesthetic that makes their live shows feel closer to a ritual than a concert. Albums like Darkness Rains (2018), Under the Spell of Joy (2020), and Islands in the Sky (2023) earned them a devoted cult following on both sides of the Atlantic.
