Die Königin von Saba (The Queen of Sheba) is a four-act opera by Austrian composer Karl Goldmark, which premiered in Vienna in 1875. The libretto by Salomon Hermann Mosenthal draws on the biblical legend of the Queen of Sheba. The work is noted for its richly coloured, orientalist orchestration and demanding vocal writing.
