Die Orthopädischen Strümpfe

About

Die Orthopädischen Strümpfe are the long-standing backing band of German entertainer Guildo Horn, led by musical director Addi Mollig. The group - whose name translates roughly as 'the orthopaedic stockings' - has toured and recorded with Horn since the early 1990s, blending hard rock with ironic schlager. Together they represented Germany at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest with 'Guildo hat euch lieb!', finishing seventh and leaving a lasting mark on the contest's history.
