About
Die Paldauer are an Austrian schlager band from Paldau in Styria, founded in 1968 by stepbrothers Franz Griesbacher and Erwin Pfundner. By the mid-1980s they had become the most successful schlager act in Austria and Switzerland, and broke through in Germany with the 1988 hit 'Tanz mit mir Corinna'. Over more than five decades they have released 28 studio albums, collected multiple gold records and won the Goldene Stimmgabel, cementing their place as one of the longest-running live acts in the German-language schlager scene.
