DJ Python is the main alias of Brian Piñeyro, an Ecuadorian-American producer and DJ based in the Ridgewood neighborhood of Queens, New York. He coined the term "deep reggaeton" for his signature sound - slow dembow rhythms layered under hazy synth pads and ambient textures - and built a devoted following in the global underground club scene. His 2020 album Mas Amable was named album of the year by Resident Advisor and Boomkat, and he has since collaborated with Ela Minus, Ana Roxanne, Florentino, and Kelman Duran, releasing on labels including Incienso and Dekmantel.
DJ Python made his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut in 2024, previewing unreleased tracks and edits.
DJ Python and Ana Roxanne released their collaborative debut album as Natural Wonder Beauty Concept on Mexican Summer on July 14, 2023.
The Natural Wonder Beauty Concept album toured Europe, the UK, and North America and appeared on multiple end-of-year lists.
DJ Python released Club Sentimientos Vol. 2 and a collaborative EP Corazón with Ela Minus.
