Dominique Fils-Aimé is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter of Haitian descent, widely regarded as one of Canada's leading voices in vocal jazz, soul, and blues. She built her reputation with a debut trilogy - Nameless (2018), Stay Tuned! (2019), and Three Little Words (2021) - tracing the history of Black North American music, and has since won multiple JUNO and Félix Awards. Her voice spans a remarkable range from contralto to soprano, and her 2026 album My World Is the Sun continues a second trilogy on her own label, Ensoul Records.
Fils-Aimé announced new US and European dates for The Sunshine World Tour, including stops in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, and France.
My World Is the Sun, the second chapter of her sophomore trilogy, was released on February 20, 2026 via Ensoul Records.
The lead single 'Going Home' from My World Is the Sun was released on November 20, 2025.
Live at the Montreal International Jazz Festival (2025), her first live album recorded on the festival's main stage in 2024, was released.
Fils-Aimé represented Canada at World Expo 2025 in Osaka and performed at Jazz à Vienne opening for Jamie Cullum, the North Sea Jazz Festival, and the Jazzablanca Festival in Morocco.
