Dú Maroc (born Mimoun Alaoui, 21 August 1985 in Frankfurt am Main) is a German rapper of Moroccan-Berber descent who grew up in the Sossenheim district. A serious training injury cut short his path to a professional football career just before a Bundesliga debut, and he turned to rap - inspired by his childhood friend SadiQ - eventually signing to the Frankfurt label Azzlackz. His albums consistently charted in Germany, and his 2025 release EFFECTIF marked his first entry into the German Top 20.
