Editors - Live 2027
British rock band Editors perform a live concert in Munich.
Editors are a British post-punk and indie rock band from Birmingham, formed in 2002 after the founding members met at Staffordshire University. Their seven studio albums have all reached the UK top ten, including two chart-toppers - An End Has a Start (2007) and In This Light and on This Evening (2009) - and their debut The Back Room (2005) earned a Mercury Prize nomination. Over two decades the band has shifted from dark guitar-driven rock toward electronic and industrial textures, while keeping the brooding atmosphere that defines their sound.
Editors released new single 'Call It In' via Play It Again Sam - their first new music since the 2022 album EBM - and announced a headline UK and European tour for early 2027.
The band announced they will headline the opening night of The Warehouse at Villa Park, a new 3,500-capacity venue in Birmingham, on 9 July 2026.
Frontman Tom Smith announced his debut solo album 'There Is Nothing In The Dark Which Isn't There In The Light', released December 5, 2025 via Play It Again Sam.
Editors played two sold-out nights at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, moving nearly 12,000 tickets and grossing close to $580,000.
Editors released their seventh studio album EBM via [PIAS], which entered the UK Albums Chart top ten.
