About
Eefje de Visser (born 1986, Voorburg) is a Dutch singer-songwriter who blends alternative pop with electronic textures and folk influences, writing exclusively in Dutch. She won the Grote Prijs van Nederland in 2009 and has since released six studio albums, earning a devoted following in the Netherlands and Belgium. Her 2020 album Bitterzoet reached #1 in Belgium and swept nearly every major Dutch and Belgian music award that year; its 2024 follow-up Heimwee and the 2025 companion record Vlijmscherp confirmed her as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Dutch-language pop.
