About

Employed To Serve are a British metalcore band from Woking, England, formed in 2011 by vocalist Justine Jones and guitarist/vocalist Sammy Urwin. Their sound draws on metalcore, mathcore, hardcore punk and death metal, and their 2017 album The Warmth of a Dying Sun brought them wider recognition across the European heavy music scene. Fifth album Fallen Star (April 2025, Spinefarm) features guest appearances by Will Ramos of Lorna Shore and Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage, and has been touring extensively since its release.
