Ensemble FisFüz is a Cologne-based group that blends European classical music with Oriental and Middle Eastern traditions. Their name comes from the Turkish word for the note F-sharp. In their programme "Mozart im Morgenland" they reinterpret Mozart through Middle Eastern instruments and melodic idioms.
