About

СКАЙ (SKAI) is a Ukrainian rock band founded in 2001 in Ternopil by vocalist Oleg Sobchuk and guitarist Oleksandr Hryshchuk. Playing alternative rock, pop-rock and post-punk, the band broke through nationally in 2005 via the M1 TV talent project 'Svizha Krov' and went on to release eight studio albums on Lavina Music. Since February 2022 the band has raised over 50 million UAH for the Ukrainian Armed Forces through its own charity fund, and in 2025 received the YUNA award for outstanding contribution to Ukrainian music culture.

  • 2026-03

    СКАЙ released new singles 'Why' and 'Why (acoustic version)' in late March 2026, continuing active output ahead of the anniversary tour.

    The band launched the 25th-anniversary jubilee tour 'СКАЙ Live 25', with confirmed European dates including Wrocław (September 13) and Bratislava (September 17).

    СКАЙ received the YUNA music award for outstanding contribution to Ukrainian music culture.

    The band released a cluster of new tracks in May 2025, including 'Stand Up', 'Fake', and 'Cloud'.

  • 2024-03

    СКАЙ ran a spring charity acoustic tour under the national 'Save the Limb' programme, raising funds for surgery for wounded Ukrainian soldiers; since February 2022 the band's concerts have collected over 50 million UAH for the Armed Forces.
