Друга Ріка ("Second River") is a Ukrainian rock band formed in Zhytomyr in 1995-96 by vocalist Valery Kharchyshyn, guitarist Viktor Skuratovsky and bassist Oleksandr Baranovsky. After relocating to Kyiv and winning the festival "Майбутнє України" in 1999, the band became one of the most popular Ukrainian rock acts of their generation, with the 2005 gold-certified album "Рекорди" and its anthems "Відчиняй", "Так мало тут тебе" and "Три хвилини" cementing their status. Since the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022, the band has actively raised funds for the Ukrainian military, collecting over 23 million hryvnias for the armed forces.
After completing Ukrainian dates of their 30th-anniversary tour «Я є! 30 років», Друга Ріка announced a European leg to reach fans living abroad.
The band's anniversary concert at Kyiv's Palace of Sport sold out, after which they launched a nationwide Ukraine tour with a charitable goal of raising 15 million hryvnias for the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.
Друга Ріка performed two fan-curated setlist concerts in Kyiv (January 1) and Lviv (January 11) under the special programme «25 у 25».
The band received a special award at the YUNA 2024 music prize for large-scale fundraising for military drones throughout 2023.
By December 2024, Друга Ріка had collectively raised over 23 million hryvnias for the Ukrainian armed forces through their concerts.
