Verka Serdyuchka
Verka Serduchka, one of Ukraine's most iconic pop entertainers, brings her live show to Sala Ziemi Poznan Congress Center in Poznań.
Verka Serduchka is the drag persona of Ukrainian comedian and actor Andriy Danylko (born 1973 in Poltava), who first brought the character to a Poltava theater stage in 1991. The act blends eurodance, folk-pop and sharp comedy, built around an extravagant silver-star costume and the ever-present stage 'mother' played by actress Inna Bilokon. Danylko represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2007 with 'Dancing Lasha Tumbai', finishing second with 235 points - one of the contest's most iconic performances. He holds the title of People's Artist of Ukraine and has sold over 600,000 records.
Kyiv Oblast police opened an investigation after Danylko allegedly performed Russian-language songs at a concert in Boryspil district on 13 June, potentially violating Ukraine's language law.
Danylko was prevented from leaving Ukraine in March 2025; planned concerts in London, Alicante, Frankfurt, Munich and Prague were cancelled after the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture suspended the issuance of travel-support letters to male artists.
Verka Serduchka & Band performed the European leg of their 2026 tour, with confirmed dates in Warsaw, Wrocław, Milan, Amsterdam, Vienna and Limassol.
Verka Serduchka & Band completed a North America tour leg in April 2026, playing venues in Berkeley, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Miami and Toronto.
Verka Serduchka appeared at Het Grote Songfestival Feest 2025 in Amsterdam in November 2025.
