Escape With Romeo is a German post-punk and darkwave band founded in Cologne in 1989 by singer-guitarist Thomas Elbern, who had previously played in Pink Turns Blue. Over more than three decades the band built a loyal following across Europe with melodic, guitar-driven songs, releasing 13 studio albums on their own Zeitklang label. After announcing a farewell in 2017 and dissolving following festival dates in 2019, they returned in 2024 with new material and are now actively touring again.
