About

Evergrey is a Swedish progressive metal band from Gothenburg, active since 1995 and built around the voice and vision of founder Tom S. Englund. Their music pairs heavy, down-tuned riffs with atmospheric keyboards and deeply personal lyrics that circle themes of loss, guilt and resilience - a sound that sets them apart from the melodic death metal Gothenburg is otherwise known for. Across fifteen studio albums they have grown into one of Europe's most consistent acts in the genre, playing festivals from Wacken to Graspop and releasing their latest record, 'Architects Of A New Weave', in June 2026 via Napalm Records.
