Fäaschtbänkler
Concert by Fäaschtbänkler at Glaspalast Sindelfingen. Swabian folk and traditional music in a modern style.
Fäaschtbänkler are a five-piece Swiss band from Kriessern in the Rhine Valley (canton St. Gallen), founded in 2008 by Andreas Frei, Roman Pizio, Roman Wüthrich, Marco Graber and Michael Hutter. Their sound sits somewhere between brass-band tradition, pop, techno and Oberkrainer folk - played on everything from trumpet and accordion to alphorn and e-bass. With over 1,000 concerts across the German-speaking world and Gold and Platinum singles to their name, they have become one of the most in-demand live acts in the DACH region.
Fäaschtbänkler are touring Germany, Austria and Switzerland throughout 2026 in support of their latest album, with dates running through December.
The band released several new singles in 2026, including 'Nimm das Leben nicht zu ernst (Tequila)' with Alexander Eder and 'Highlightmensch' with Revelle.
Fäaschtbänkler released their new album 'Der schönste Tag in meinem Leben' on 8 August 2025, featuring 16 tracks on the Rosenklang label.
The band collaborated with Sašo Avsenik & seine Oberkrainer on the track 'Ich brauch Musik', released in 2025.
Fäaschtbänkler performed at major Swiss festivals in summer 2025, including Open Air Gampel and the Frequency Festival in St. Pölten.
