About

Fancy is the stage name of Manfred Alois Segieth (born 7 July 1946 in Munich), a German singer, songwriter, and record producer. He rose to prominence in the mid-1980s as one of the defining voices of the eurodisco and italo-disco scene, scoring chart hits across Europe with tracks like "Slice Me Nice", "Bolero", "Flames of Love" and "Lady of Ice". Beyond performing, he shaped the genre as a producer, working with artists such as Grant Miller and Linda Jo Rizzo. Now in his late seventies, he remains active on stage and is releasing a farewell album in 2026.
