Faster Pussycat is an American hard rock and glam metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 1985 by vocalist Taime Downe. Their 1989 album 'Wake Me When It's Over' went gold on the strength of the Top 40 hit 'House of Pain', and the band has sold over two million records worldwide. After breaking up in 1993 and reforming in 2001, Downe has kept the group active ever since - he remains the only constant member through decades of lineup changes.
