About

Fazıl Say is a Turkish pianist and composer born in 1970 in Ankara. He studied in Düsseldorf and New York before building an international career both as a performer and as a composer in his own right. His music weaves classical forms together with Turkish folk and jazz influences - his "Turkish March Jazz" is among his best-known pieces. He performs regularly on major concert stages worldwide.
