Fleshcrawl is a German death metal band from Illertissen, Bavaria, founded in 1987 by guitarist Stefan Hanus and drummer Bastian Herzog - originally under the name Morgöth, then briefly Suffocation, before settling on their current name in 1991. Drawing heavily on the Swedish death metal sound, they recorded several albums in Stockholm and Gothenburg studios and built a reputation for relentless, HM-2-driven heaviness. Their catalogue spans ten studio albums, from the 1992 debut 'Descend into the Absurd' through to 'Epitome of Carnage' (2026), released on Reigning Phoenix Music / Distortion Music Group.
Fleshcrawl released their tenth studio album 'Epitome of Carnage' on June 12, 2026 via Reigning Phoenix Music / Distortion Music Group.
Fleshcrawl are scheduled to perform at Party.San Open Air in Schlotheim, Germany, in August 2026.
Fleshcrawl played the Growl Bowl Festival V in Munich in March 2026 as part of their Eternal Death Rituals tour run.
