Frittenbude is a German electropunk band founded in 2006 in Bavaria, whose members Johannes Rögner and Jacob Häglsperger now live in Berlin. Their sound fuses driving techno beats with rap and punk attitude, always in German, and their lyrics swing between sharp social commentary and dancefloor hedonism. Albums like 'Katzengold' (2010) and 'Küken des Orion' (2015) reached the German Top 20, and the band has played major festivals including Hurricane, Southside and Melt. In 2023 they released 'Apokalypse Wow' on their own label Nachti, followed by the 'Tyrannosaurus Rave' EP in 2025.
Frittenbude are on their '20 Jahre Filmriss' anniversary tour, with dates running through December 2026 across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
