Fritz Honka was a German serial killer who murdered at least four women in Hamburg during the 1970s. He lured his victims - mostly homeless women and alcoholics - to his flat in the St. Pauli district. The crimes came to light in 1975 after a fire broke out in the building. Writer Heinz Strunk later fictionalised his story in the novel Der goldene Handschuh (2016).
