Gentleman (born Tilmann Otto in 1974 in Osnabrück) is a German reggae musician based in Cologne, active since the late 1990s. Singing in English and Jamaican Patois, he built his reputation through deep ties to Jamaica and collaborations with artists such as Ky-Mani Marley, Shaggy and Sean Paul. His 2004 album "Confidence" went platinum and topped the German charts, as did "Diversity" in 2010, cementing him as the leading reggae voice to emerge from Europe.
Gentleman announced his new studio album "GRATITUDE" (due August 2026) and a 14-city Gratitude Tour across Germany and Switzerland in autumn 2026.
