Ghost

About

Ghost is a Swedish rock band formed in Linköping in 2006, built around frontman and creative mastermind Tobias Forge, who performs under a series of theatrical 'Papa Emeritus' personas backed by anonymous musicians known as the Nameless Ghouls. The band blends hard rock, arena rock and pop sensibility with elaborate occult-papal stagecraft, winning a Grammy for Best Metal Performance (2016) and topping the US Billboard 200 in 2025 with their sixth album Skeletá - the first hard rock record to do so in over four years.
