Ginuwine (born Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, October 15, 1970, Washington D.C.) is an American R&B singer who broke through in 1996 with the Timbaland-produced debut single "Pony", which hit #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and helped his debut album go double platinum. His first four albums sold in the millions, and his 2001 ballad "Differences" remains his highest-charting pop hit at #4. He later formed the R&B supergroup TGT with Tyrese and Tank, whose 2013 album Three Kings earned a Grammy nomination.
