Glen Hansard is an Irish singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known as the frontman of the Dublin band The Frames. He won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Falling Slowly" from the 2007 film Once, which he co-wrote and starred in alongside Markéta Irglová. His solo work draws on folk, rock and soul influences.
