Goitzsche Front - Year-End Concert
Goitzsche Front celebrates the end of the year with a concert in Halle (Saale).
Goitzsche Front is a Deutschrock band from Bitterfeld-Wolfen in Saxony-Anhalt, founded in 2009. Named after a flooded open-cast coal mine near their hometown, the quartet sings exclusively in German, with lyrics centred on home, solidarity and everyday life. Their albums 'Deines Glückes Schmied' (2018) and 'Jugend von Gestern' (2024) both reached number one on the official German charts, making them one of the most commercially successful acts in the genre.
Album 'Jugend von Gestern', released 9 August 2024, debuted at number one on the Official German Charts.
The 'Jugend von Gestern Tour 2025' took the band through 12 German cities from April to May 2025, with support from Berserker.
The mayor of Bitterfeld-Wolfen officially named Goitzsche Front cultural ambassadors of the city in January 2024.
Drummer Tom Neubauer left the band in early 2023 for personal reasons.
