Greenleaf is a Swedish stoner and desert rock band from Borlänge, formed in 1999 as a side project by guitarist Tommi Holappa of Dozer, alongside members of Demon Cleaner and Lowrider. After years of rotating line-ups, the band solidified around vocalist Arvid Hällagård in 2013 and has since released nine studio albums, becoming one of the most respected live acts in the European heavy underground. Their 2021 album Echoes from a Mass topped the Doom Charts, and the 2024 follow-up The Head & The Habit was widely praised as among the best rock records of that year.
Greenleaf announced a fall European club tour for November 2025, covering Germany, Switzerland, France, and Spain.
Greenleaf released Revolution Rock Deluxe on March 28, 2025 via Blues Funeral Recordings - a fully remastered 15-track edition combining their 2001 debut album with the out-of-print 2000 EP.
Greenleaf completed a spring 2025 European tour with dates in Germany, France, and the Netherlands.
Greenleaf released their ninth studio album The Head & The Habit on June 21, 2024 via Magnetic Eye Records, to widespread critical acclaim.
Greenleaf's album Echoes from a Mass was ranked #1 album of 2021 on the Doom Charts, ahead of Green Lung, Domkraft, King Buffalo, and Monolord.
