Grossstadtgeflüster is a Berlin electropop trio - vocalist Jen Bender, keyboardist Raphael Schalz and drummer Chriz Falk - active since 2003. Their music blends synth-driven pop with a punk attitude and sharp, ironic lyrics about personal freedom and non-conformity, drawing comparisons to Deichkind. Seven studio albums in, they reached #5 on the German charts in 2024 with 'Das Über-Icke' and have accumulated over 100 million Spotify streams.
Grossstadtgeflüster announced a '23 2/3 Jahre' anniversary tour for 2026, covering 15 dates across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
The band's seventh album 'Das Über-Icke' was released on 9 February 2024 and reached #5 on the German album charts.
Parts of the 'Das Über-Icke Live 2024' tour were postponed after drummer Chriz Falk suffered a bicep tendon injury requiring surgery and at least 12 weeks of rehabilitation.
In June 2023, after 20 years of band history, Grossstadtgeflüster announced the album 'Das Über-Icke' and a 2024 tour.
