Grzegorz Karnas (born 1972 in Wodzisław Śląski, Upper Silesia) is a Polish jazz vocalist, music producer and polyglot who studied at the Jazz Institute of the Academy of Music in Katowice. His voice - marked by an expressive falsetto and a gift for free improvisation - draws on jazz, world music and contemporary composition. He has won Grand Prix prizes at international vocal competitions in Zamość, Brussels and Crest (France), and since 2008 has run the Voicingers Festival in his home city of Żory. His band Karnas Formula has toured across Europe, Asia and Africa, with albums released on the Slovak label Hevhetia and the Hungarian label BMC Records.
