Haddaway (born Nestor Alexander Haddaway, 9 January 1965, Trinidad and Tobago) is a Trinidadian-born singer and songwriter long based in Germany and Austria. His 1993 debut single "What Is Love" topped the charts in 13 countries and sold over 2.6 million copies worldwide, becoming one of the defining tracks of the eurodance era. The song gained a second life through the Saturday Night Live "Roxbury Guys" sketches and the 1998 film A Night at the Roxbury, cementing its status as a pop-culture touchstone. In March 2026 he released his sixth studio album, The Sun.
