About

Hämatom is a German groove/industrial metal band from Speichersdorf, Franconia, founded in 2004. Their members perform masked and go by the cardinal directions Nord, Ost, Süd and Rose - a concept that ties their visual identity directly to the music. Rooted in Neue Deutsche Härte, they write exclusively in German, tackling social, religious and political themes, and have placed multiple albums in the German Top 10, including "Wir sind Gott" (2016) at #5 and "Für Dich" (2025) at #2.

    Hämatom released their eleventh studio album "Für Dich" on January 24, 2025, a tribute to bassist West (Peter Haag) who died in August 2023, with the album debuting at #2 on the German charts.
