About

Hardline is an American melodic hard rock band founded in Los Angeles in 1991 by brothers Johnny and Joey Gioeli. Their 1992 debut Double Eclipse - featuring Journey guitarist Neal Schon and drummer Deen Castronovo - became a benchmark of the genre, though grunge's rise cut short the band's early momentum. Since the early 2010s, frontman Johnny Gioeli has led a stable Italian-based lineup alongside keyboardist/producer Alessandro Del Vecchio, and the band has remained a fixture on the European rock circuit.
