Henrik Freischlader (born 3 November 1982, Wuppertal) is a German blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer, and self-taught multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, drums, and Hammond organ. Since his debut album in 2006 he has released over 11 studio albums on his own Cable Car Records label, and has shared stages with B.B. King, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band. His sound blends blues with rock, soul, and funk, driven by a raspy voice and guitar work rooted in the tradition of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Peter Green.
