Heretoir is a German post-black metal band from Augsburg, founded in 2006 by David "Eklatanz" C. as a solo project and later expanded into a full ensemble. The band weaves black metal intensity with post-rock and shoegaze textures, building dense, melancholic soundscapes around themes of loss, isolation, and environmental grief. Their four studio albums - from the self-titled debut (2011) through "The Circle" (2017), "Nightsphere" (2023), and "Solastalgia" (2025) - trace a steady evolution toward more accessible yet emotionally raw territory. Signed to AOP Records, they have toured extensively across Europe and Latin America and shared stages with acts such as Alcest, Enslaved, and Katatonia.
