Hermanos Gutiérrez is an instrumental guitar duo formed in Zürich in 2015 by Ecuadorian-Swiss brothers Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez, who grew up between Switzerland and the coastal town of Playas, Ecuador. Their wordless music weaves Latin American melody, spaghetti-western atmosphere and ambient guitar textures into cinematic soundscapes. Collaborating with producer Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) from 2022 onward, they broke through internationally with El Bueno y el Malo and Sonido Cósmico, performing at Coachella in 2024 and touring across North America, Europe and Japan.
Hermanos Gutiérrez announced their seventh album Los Ojos del Cóndor, due September 25, 2026, produced by Dan Auerbach and inspired by the South American roots of their great-grandfather in Peru.
