About

Herrenmagazin is a Hamburg indie-rock band founded in late 2004 by singer-guitarist Deniz Jaspersen, drummer Rasmus Engler, bassist Paul Konopacka and guitarist König Wilhelmsburg (Torben Leske). Their debut album Atzelgift (2008) on Motor Music established them across the German indie scene, and four more albums followed on Grand Hotel van Cleef - the label co-founded by Kettcar and Tomte. After announcing an open-ended hiatus in January 2016, the band returned in 2025 with their fifth studio album Du hast hier nichts verloren, to a warm critical reception and a run of sold-out club shows.
