About

Höhner are a Cologne-based band founded in 1972, widely regarded as one of the defining acts of the Kölner Karneval alongside Bläck Fööss. Over five decades they built a catalogue that spans Kölsch-dialect party anthems and mainstream German pop, with hits like "Viva Colonia" (2003) and the 2007 handball-World-Championship anthem "Wenn nicht jetzt, wann dann?", which reached number one in Germany. Since 2022 the band has been fronted by Patrick Lück, who took over from the long-serving Henning Krautmacher.
