Cappella Mediterranea is a vocal and instrumental ensemble focused on early music, particularly repertoire from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is directed by Argentine conductor and lutenist Leonardo García Alarcón. The group has built a strong reputation for its performances of Baroque opera and sacred music, including works by Rameau, Monteverdi and Charpentier.
