About

Ice Nine Kills is an American metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 2000 by Spencer Charnas and Jeremy Schwartz - with Charnas the only founding member still in the lineup. The band built its identity around horror cinema and literature: each album maps its songs to specific films or books, a concept they pushed furthest on 'The Silver Scream' (2018) and its sequel 'Welcome to Horrorwood' (2021), both of which broke into the Billboard Top 30. Beyond records, they have cultivated a sprawling multimedia universe - the INKverse - spanning graphic novels, a mock true-crime book, an annual Silver Scream Convention, and official soundtrack placements in Terrifier 3 and Scream 7.
