Imany (born Nadia Mladjao, 1979, Martigues) is a French soul and folk singer of Comorian descent who first built a career as a Ford Models Europe model before returning to France and launching her music career in 2008. Her debut album The Shape of a Broken Heart (2011) went platinum, and the Filatov & Karas remix of 'Don't Be So Shy' turned her into a pan-European phenomenon - certified diamond in France and eight times diamond internationally. In 2021 she released Voodoo Cello, a striking project pairing her voice with eight cellos, followed by a 100-date world tour; her fourth studio album Women Deserve Rage arrived in October 2025.
