About
Imperial Triumphant is an American avant-garde metal trio formed in New York City in 2005 by guitarist and vocalist Zachary Ezrin, with bassist Steve Blanco and drummer Kenny Grohowski completing the current lineup. Their music fuses black metal with dissonant jazz structures, art-deco imagery, and the sonic chaos of New York City itself. Signed to Century Media Records since 2019, they broke through internationally with Alphaville (2020) and have since cemented their reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in extreme metal.
